Study recruitment is based on where people live in the country and also whether your GP practice has agreed to participate in the research. GP practices then randomly selected patients (aged 18 and over) who are eligible to take part and sent out invitations to participate on behalf of the research team.
This process took place during Wave 1 of the study. People who agreed to take part will be recontacted for Wave 2.
